Where and when will Sectionals be held this year?

    Sectionals will be hosted by the Gamma Lambda Chapter at Clemson University this year! 

    The conference will be February 22-23, 2019. The address of our base for the conference

    can be found below.

Will housing be provided to me during the event?

    Unfortunately, our chapter will not be able to provide housing to our visiting brothers.

    However, you can find a list of housing options here! We greatly appreciate your cooperation.

What is the cost of this event?

    The registration fee for the conference will cover the cost of a shirt, conference gifts, and 

    dinner on Saturday.  We will not be providing a meal on Friday night, but snacks will be 

    provided at the fellowship event on Friday. The registration fee timeline is as follows:

                                                      December 1-January 1                      $40

January 1 - January 31                       $40

February 1 - Feb 13                           $45

How can I provide you with my chapter’s voting delegates?

    You should designate your voting delegates when you register! Each chapter is responsible for

    provide two voting delegates for the section business meeting.

    We recommend that you have two alternates as well.

How can my chapter be nominated for awards?

    The Section 77 Awards packet is enclosed in 2019 APO Sectionals Packet.  

    Please take notice that the awards packet is due in by Friday, February 15th by 9:00 PM.  

    Section DSK nominations must be submitted to our conference email 

    (clemsonglsectionals@gmail.com) by January 30th. Any packets/nominations submitted after

    the deadline will not be taken into consideration. Each chapter is responsible for providing one

    voting delegate for the section awards committee meeting.  You do not have to designate this

    delegate before the conference.

What courses will be offered at the event?

    We plan to offer a wide range of courses during the conference that will focus on issues facing

    our section chapters. We will also offer three LEADS courses:  Launch, Achieve, & Discover.

What service events will I be able to partake in?

    Between now and the conference, we will have an ongoing service drive between all of the

    chapters at Sectionals. More information can be found on the attached flier.  We will announce

    the winner (most items per active brother) during the awards banquet on Saturday night.

    We will also offer service projects throughout the conference. Additionally, we will have

    two service activities brothers can participate in on Saturday!  

What fellowship opportunities will be provided to me?

    Outside of Service projects and leadership courses, the conference will also provide the

    opportunity for fellowship events on Friday night as well as throughout the weekend.

    After Check-In is closed on Friday, the Brothers of Gamma Lambda would love to invite all 

    Brothers to the Palmetto Ballroom for a night of games, movies and food!

What is the theme for Sectionals this year?

    The Theme for this conference will be “Around the World with APO!”

​

When is check in?

    Check-In will run from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday February 22, 2019 and from 8:00-9:00 AM on

    Saturday February 23, 2019. Registration will be located in Lehotsky Hall.
